My work is about feeling — but more than that, it's about expression. I don't just paint landscapes. I paint myself into them. Each piece begins with a feeling — a pull toward colour, movement, something I can't quite explain yet. From there, the painting unfolds instinctively, revealing itself layer by layer. The storm rolling in, the light breaking through, the colour that refuses to be quiet — that's me. Where I'm at, what I'm moving through, what I'm becoming. Painted from my studio in Walcha, rural New South Wales, my work isn't created to simply sit on a wall — it's created to change how a space feels to live in.
